Friends
Over the years, I have made some fantastic friends online. Some of them have helped with getting the word out about my stories, while others are simply wonderful people that I am thrilled to know. Please visit their sites. I would not be here today without the help, advice, and love from these people.
Podcasts
- Dragon's Landing
- An advice and idea line for tabletop RPG gamers that I run with my good friend, Chuck Tinsley.
- Dragon Page Cover to Cover
- I have listened to this wonderful podcast for years, through several different formats and hosts. These interviews with authors, and general insight for authors, is not to be missed.
- I Should Be Writing
- Mur has been running this excellent podcast for "wannabe writers" for about as long as I can remember. Excellent advice and interviews abound for the aspiring author.
- The Survival Guide to Writing Fantasy
- While slightly mis-named, Tee Morris' podcast is all about marketing your fiction. Applicable to any genre. Highly recommended.
Authors
- Michael A. Stackpole
- A New York Times Bestselling author, Mike was kind enough to offer a few words of advice, as well as provide a wonderful blurb for Daughter of the Sun.
- Tee Morris
- A fantastic man in his own right, his books are wonderfully enteraining reads.
- Mur Lafferty
- When not running shows like I Should Be Writing, Mur has written several great stories, several of which are freely available podcasts. I think my favorite, though, was Playing for Keeps.
- JC Hutchins
- A powerhouse of storytelling, JC Hutchins was one of the first podcast novelists on the scene, and one of the best known today. And with good reason. His books are a thrilling ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Music
- Captain Black's Sea Dogges
- Chuck's wonderful pirate band.
- Midnight Syndicate
- These guys do some phantastic mood music. Perfect for writing the stranger and darker moments of your stories.

What They're Saying
“Lonnie Ezell introduces heroic fantasy fans into a brand new fantasy world reminiscent of the worlds of Jennifer Roberson and Melanie Rawn. The characters are well written and have depth, like Elena who possesses powers thought evil by most people, and who resists using them except in the most dire of circumstances. The world feels familiar and yet fresh, with magic and politics which, when woven together, provide an urgent and Byzantine plot that races along. This is not a book that will disappoint. ”
