I've been asked by PG Holyfield to write a short story for a podcast anthology set in the world of his novel, Murder at Avedon Hill. I'm thrilled at the opportunity, as PG is, first of all, a fantastic guy, and second - a wonderful promoter.

As I progress through the planning stages of the story, I'll keep detailed notes and examples over at the private Zero2Novel forums about what I did and why. Hopefully that will serve as a good example of what you can do, or spark more ideas for your own stories. Of course, I'm asking for your opinions on the posts as well! That's what we're here for - to help each other out.

I've come up with a story idea and sent it his way, so we'll see what his opinions are, and whether the idea fits within his world as good as I think it does. There are one or two points that I need clarification on from him (and one is a huge one that could break the idea if it doesn't work).
