Lonnie Ezell

As promised, here’s the first of the monthly songs that I’ll be posting here. This one might be a little bit of cheat, since I actually had this already partially finished, but I wanted to get it finished and fully fleshed out.

This month’s song is Tell Me Ma, a traditional Irish (and possibly British before that?) children’s song, that has nonetheless become a popular tune in Ireland. I first heard it performed by the wonderful band, Gaelic Storm.
