A New Low for Daughter of the Sun

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS Feed. Thanks for visiting!

I hit a new low last night. But a low that is good.

It started when I installed an app on my iPhone to track the Amazon sales rank of the book. Let's face it, the sales aren't generally great. I haven't put nearly enough time into marketing it to make it happen, so I thought for sure that something was off on the app when I opened it this morning and saw that my sales had dropped from 1.2 million to around 163,000. That means that, somehow, I had quite a few sales yesterday, and I'm not sure where they came from. That's the whole reason that I signed up for a free account over at RankForest anyway, was to try to figure out correlations between marketing I did do, and sales.

The only idea thing I've done in the last few days was to post a review on one of Rick Riordan's books, The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 1) , on Amazon. Surely, it couldn't have made that much of a difference, could it have?

Doesn't really matter, though. I'll take it!
